Subject: Discover the True Essence of Sharing the Gospel (03/14/'24) -Message

Subject: Discover the True Essence of Sharing the Gospel Dear Colleagues, I hope this message finds you well and thriving in your journey of faith. Today, I feel compelled to share with you a powerful reflection on the essence of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ—a perspective that has deeply inspired me and I believe holds the potential to enrich our collective understanding and practice of our faith. At the heart of our call to share the Gospel lies a truth often overlooked: the most profound impact we can make doesn’t come from our ability to articulate theological complexities or our proficiency in delivering eloquent sermons. Instead, it is our genuine faith, our unconditional love for our neighbors, and our humble demonstration of Christ’s teachings that truly resonate with others. Reflecting on the Apostle Paul’s experiences, we find a profound example of this truth. Paul openly admitted to his own feelings of weakness, fear, and trembling, yet his ministry was far from diminished. He taught us that the effectiveness of sharing the Gospel is not measured by "plausible words of wisdom" but by the living demonstration of the Spirit’s power. This serves as a potent reminder that our faith should not rest on human wisdom but on the power of God. This perspective challenges us to rethink how we share the Gospel. It calls us to embrace vulnerability, to acknowledge our weaknesses, and to rely not on our own strength but on the Spirit’s guidance. In doing so, we open ourselves to a more authentic, impactful form of witnessing—one that truly embodies the love and humility taught by Christ. Let us take to heart this call to authenticity in our faith. May we find the courage to share the Gospel not through mere words but through our actions, our love, and our lives, fully reliant on the Spirit's power. In our humility and sincerity, we will discover the true power of our testimony, capable of touching hearts in ways we never imagined. I invite you to reflect on this perspective and consider how it might transform the way we live out and share our faith. Together, let's embody the true essence of the Gospel, making a difference in the world around us, one act of genuine faith and love at a time. Blessings and peace, Pastor Steven G. Lee (March 14, 2024)
