Subject: Embracing Ancient Wisdom for Modern Integrity (03/13/'24) -Message

Subject: Embracing Ancient Wisdom for Modern Integrity Hey friends, I've been diving into some ancient wisdom from the Book of Daniel and Micah, and it's fascinating how much their messages resonate with today's issues. It's like they were calling out unfair practices and dishonesty centuries ago, and we're still facing similar challenges now, especially in the financial world and everyday transactions. Daniel talks about this dramatic moment where a divine warning is literally written on the wall, signaling the fall of those who are dishonest and greedy. And Micah – he doesn't hold back either. He slams dishonest scales and the accumulation of wealth through injustice, showing how these actions can lead to a society's moral decay. This got me thinking... In our current world, with all the stock market manipulations, misleading data, and profit-over-ethics mentality, we're kind of in the same boat. It's a reminder that cheating and being unfair don't just hurt people in the short term; they can really mess up society's trust and fairness. So, what can we do? Well, it seems like a good start is to push for more transparency, hold ourselves and others accountable, and really value fairness. Whether it's calling for better regulations to prevent financial tricks or just being honest in our daily lives, it's about building a culture that looks beyond immediate gains. Let's try to be part of the solution, promoting integrity and ethical behavior. Imagine the kind of society we could help build if we all took some of this ancient advice to heart. Thought this was a cool perspective to share, especially considering the times we're living in. What do you guys think? Take care! Pastor Steven G. Lee (March 13, 2024)
