Subject: The Silent Power of Faith (03/17/'24) -Message

Subject: The Silent Power of Faith Dear friends, I hope this message finds you well. Today, I felt compelled to share some reflections on the nature of faith—its profound sincerity, honesty, and the silent yet powerful way it conveys truth. In a world where words often overflow, faith stands out by transmitting its message quietly but unmistakably. Faith doesn’t demand visible proofs to be real (Hebrews 11:1). It is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. In embracing faith, we wear the belt of truth and the breastplate of righteousness (Ephesians 6:14), preparing us to stand firm in a world that constantly challenges our beliefs. Interestingly, faith requires no verbal affirmation to be felt and understood. It’s like a whisper that resonates louder in silence. Jesus himself highlighted the blessedness of those who believe without seeing (John 20:29), inviting us to find peace in belief itself. However, the absence of faith opens the door to judgment (John 3:18). It is a gentle reminder that our belief—or lack thereof—shapes our path and our final destination. But fear not, for faith inherently reveals itself through our actions (James 2:18). It is in what we do, not just what we say, that our faith is made visible to the world. Let us then carry the truth within us, allowing our faith to guide us silently but surely. May we find comfort in knowing that faith, though unseen, is profoundly real and powerful. Wishing you a journey filled with sincere and honest faith, Pastor Steven G. Lee (March 17, 2024)
