Title: Unveiling Divine Wisdom: A Journey of Perception and Grace Hey friends, I wanted to share some reflections that have been resonating with me, about how our openness to divine wisdom can profoundly affect our lives. It's like this: imagine being trusted with the profound secrets of the universe. Those who are open and receptive to this knowledge are blessed with ever-increasing grace, experiencing abundance in ways beyond imagination. Yet, paradoxically, those who remain closed off, not only miss out on these blessings but might even lose what little understanding they have. It’s as if there’s a veil over our hearts and minds, making us hear without truly listening and see without perceiving the depth behind what's before our eyes. This resistance to understanding, perhaps out of fear or stubbornness, keeps us from the healing and enlightenment that could transform our lives. Consider the privilege we have, a privilege that many wise and righteous people in history longed for but never experienced: direct access to the teachings and miracles that can change our very being. Jesus used parables to reach those who couldn’t see or hear the truth directly. These stories were more than simple tales; they were keys to unlocking the deeper realities of our existence. In our times, we're not so different. Many of us hear about faith and spirituality but fail to integrate these insights into our lives. It’s like we’re seeing without seeing, hearing without truly understanding. This is why, even today, parables and metaphors are so essential. They invite us into a deeper engagement with our faith, challenging us to see and hear with the heart, and ultimately, to live out these truths in our actions. Let's be the ones who see with clarity, hear with intent, and open our hearts to the transformative power of grace. It’s a journey worth taking, and I believe it’s one that can bring healing and profound insight into our lives. Would love to hear your thoughts on this and how we might live out these truths together. Warmly, Pastor Steven G. Lee (March 1,2024)
