The Divine Compassion of Jesus Christ: A Story of Love, Sacrifice, and Forgiveness (02/01/'24)
The Divine Compassion of Jesus Christ: A Story of Love, Sacrifice, and Forgiveness
The love of God for humanity is profoundly shown through the life and crucifixion of Jesus. Recognized by many as the Christ, interpretations of His role differ. As a man, Jesus demonstrated extraordinary empathy, striving to alleviate the suffering of others. The title "Christ" signifies a divine mission set by a sacred force, intended to save humans from their errors and shortcomings. Jesus's trials and sufferings reflect the struggles of human life, while His resurrection symbolizes triumph and the possibility of forgiveness. This forgiveness is not something one can earn through personal effort or simply by learning about God. Instead, it is a divine gift, stemming from an act of supreme mercy, made accessible to us through Jesus Christ. -Pastor Steven G. Lee (February 1, 2024)
