This shift in perspective, born from the teachings of Christ, encourages us to let go of selfish desires and physical attachments. By embracing the gospel, we learn to safeguard our true selves. Although the gospel may at first seem lacking or peculiar, its underlying purity and sincerity resonate deeply with our conscience, guiding us towards a more authentic and liberated existence.
