Eternal Shadows and New Creation: Understanding Our Journey Forward (05/31/'24) -Message

Eternal Shadows and New Creation: Understanding Our Journey Forward In shadows cast from days gone by, we find our present, uncovering the reasons why. Visions emerge, not from the distant future’s light, but from reflections born of yesternight. Isaiah calls us to forget the former things, for new things arise from these shadows. In the wilderness, a way appears, streams flow in the wasteland, drying our tears. Paul's call echoes through time, urging us to leave behind what lies in the past. We press onward with a hopeful mind, where past failures and triumphs fade. We move towards the prize, conveyed by a force beyond our understanding. In Christ, a new creation stands, the old is gone, shaped by His hands. Revelation’s promise rings true, proclaiming, “All things new,” envisioning a world renewed. God’s perception of time, a thousand years like a day, reveals plans that are eternal and far outweigh our temporal bounds. These constraints fall apart in His hands, encompassing the world and our hearts. A ghost weaves through time and space, the past’s embrace offering a tender grace. Visions blend from shadows cast, shaping our future, healing our past. In the collapse of time, we glimpse God’s eternal tapestry, where past, present, and future align in His divine purpose. New creation is here and now, in Christ, we bow, singing redemption’s song, a fervent plea. In shadows, light unveils our destiny. We embrace the past and the shadows it holds, for in them, God’s truth is told. From these shadows springs the new creation, in His love, our transformation. Through the echoes of shadows, we understand our journey forward, finding ourselves continuously renewed in the light of His eternal purpose. Pastor Steven G. Lee (May 31, 2024)
