Statement: Embracing the Eternal Shadows and New Creation (05/31/'24)

Statement: Embracing the Eternal Shadows and New Creation In the shadows cast from days gone by, we uncover the reasons for our present. Our visions are not born from distant future light but from reflections of our past. As Isaiah calls us to forget the former things, new things arise from these shadows. In the wilderness, a way appears, streams flow in the wasteland, drying our tears. Paul's call urges us to leave behind what lies in the past and press onward with hope. Past failures and triumphs fade as we move towards the prize, guided by a force beyond understanding. In Christ, we are a new creation; the old is gone, shaped by His hands. Revelation’s promise of “All things new” envisions a world renewed. God’s perception of time—where a thousand years are like a day—reveals His eternal plans, far beyond our temporal bounds. These constraints dissolve in His hands, encompassing the world and our hearts. The past’s embrace offers a tender grace, weaving through time and space. Visions blend from shadows cast, shaping our future and healing our past. In the collapse of time, we glimpse God’s eternal tapestry, where past, present, and future align in His divine purpose. New creation is here and now; in Christ, we bow, singing redemption’s song. In shadows, light unveils our destiny. We embrace the past and the shadows it holds, for in them, God’s truth is revealed. From these shadows springs the new creation, transforming us through His love. By understanding our journey forward through the echoes of shadows, we find ourselves continuously renewed in the light of His eternal purpose. Pastor Steven G. Lee (May 31, 2024)
