Embracing Strength Through Pain (05/29/'24) -Passage

Embracing Strength Through Pain Life presents us with challenges and pain, but we are inherently greater than our problems and more resilient than our suffering. While pain inevitably changes us, so does the healing that follows. By transforming our pain into power, we can use this newfound strength to better our lives. Rather than allowing pain to foster hatred or destroy us, we should embrace it as an opportunity for growth. The Apostle Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 of a profound truth: "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong." These words encourage us to find strength in our weaknesses, knowing that Christ's power rests upon us during our most vulnerable moments. Let us breathe life in fully and love life wholeheartedly, turning every experience into an opportunity for growth and deeper connection with the divine. Pastor Steven G. Lee (May 29, 2024)
