Embracing the Sacred Call: A Message (07/03/'24)

Embracing the Sacred Call: A Message Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Today, I want to share a message that resonates deeply with the words of Pastor Steven G. Lee: "There is no greater fault than not being satisfied with the Gospel." These words call us to reflect on the true treasure we possess in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In our pursuit of knowledge and understanding, it's easy to wander into realms where shadows masquerade as light, seeking treasures beyond the sacred vault. Yet, the further we go, the more we realize how little we truly know, and how easily we can fall into delusion. This is a gentle reminder that the Gospel is not merely a subject to be studied but a divine truth to be lived and cherished. The secret to this profound truth is hidden in plain sight. It is found in the humble act of sharing the Gospel with those near to us—our neighbors, friends, and family. In these simple exchanges, a transformative power takes hold. Every day becomes a new opportunity to learn, as the Gospel's grace blossoms within us, nurturing an acute awareness of its presence in our lives. Contentment and faith grow in this embrace. In the Gospel, we find our place, a refuge from the stormy seas of doubt and delusion. The greatest call of our faith is not found in far-reaching knowledge but in the humble, faithful sharing of the Gospel's timeless truth. It is in these moments of daily communion, in this ongoing dialogue with the divine, that the Gospel makes us whole. Let us remember that the Gospel is not just a message to be shared but a treasure to be cherished. As we journey together, let every twist and turn reveal more of the Gospel's true treasure. In the sacred simplicity of God's loving face, we find the greatest call—a call to embrace the Gospel, to share it with a humble heart, and to be content in its divine embrace. May we anchor our hearts in this truth and live out the Gospel in every moment of our lives. In Christ's love, Pastor Steven G. Lee (July 3, 2024)
