Message: Guided by the Inner Light (07/03/'24)

Message: Guided by the Inner Light Dear Friends, In the stillness of our hearts, where ancient wisdom whispers, we find a beacon that guides us through the complexities of life—our conscience. This inner light, a single pure thought, holds more value than a million fleeting ideas. It is the spark that illuminates our path, steering us toward truth and integrity. The Apostle Paul reminds us, "Always keep your conscience clear. For some have deliberately violated their conscience, and as a result, their faith has been shipwrecked" (1 Timothy 1:19). When we ignore the voice of our conscience, we risk drifting away from the steady course of faith, ending up stranded on the shores of doubt and despair. Jesus’ words to the experts in the law are a powerful admonition: "Woe to you experts in the law! For you have taken away the key to knowledge. You yourselves have not entered, and you have hindered those who were entering" (Luke 11:52). This stern rebuke highlights the grave responsibility of those who lead and teach. Misleading others not only jeopardizes their journey but also undermines our own spiritual integrity. Yet, there is hope and redemption. In the quiet moments of honest reflection, where truth meets conscience, we find the compass that can navigate us through life’s storms. This inner guide, unwavering and true, brings us back to the sacred shores where faith and love are reborn. One pure thought from our conscience can lead us through turmoil and uncertainty. It is within this clarity that we rediscover our path. The echo of conscience possesses the power to mend, heal, and restore. It is a journey of faith, guided by the inner light, leading us home. Let us embrace this light, keeping our conscience clear and our hearts open to the truth. May we be guided by its wisdom, leading others with integrity and love. Blessings, Pastor Steven G. Lee (July 3, 2024)
