Echoes of the Infinite: Reflections on the Value of the Soul (05/02/'24) -Statement

Echoes of the Infinite: Reflections on the Value of the Soul In the perspective of God, each human being holds the highest value, a truth deeply ingrained in Jesus. This conviction was not only a thought or a belief for Him but a guiding principle that influenced His entire life and mission. He dedicated Himself fully to this truth, embodying it through His teachings and the way He lived. He communicated this concept through the parables of the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the lost son. These stories are not merely tales but profound lessons on the immense value God places on each individual. They depict how God, like a shepherd searching for his stray sheep, a woman scouring her home for a lost coin, or a father eagerly awaiting his son's return, sees every soul as irreplaceable and worthy of great celebration upon their return. These narratives underscore a fundamental gospel truth: every person is of infinite worth in the eyes of God, and this value compels a divine pursuit and joy when the lost are found. This perspective invites us to view ourselves and others as immensely significant, cherished deeply in the vast, encompassing love of God. Pastor Steven G. Lee (May 2, 2024)
