Embracing Change and Renewed Hope We need to be overflowing with hope through the power of the Holy Spirit and have the passion to live a new life day by day on the inside, even though our outer selves are wasting away. We cannot become what we want by remaining what we are. We have great, unexplored reserves of potential within us, and our job is to release them. Nothing in the world can trouble us as much as our own thoughts. Don't let the world change our hope in Christ. "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope (Romans 15:13)." Change is inevitable; without change, progress is impossible. No longer accept the things we cannot change; change the things we cannot accept. Life has no remoteness. Get up and change it. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking. In the ways of change, we find our direction. One reason people resist change is because they focus on what they have to give up instead of what they have to gain. We all eat lies when we are depressed. "Therefore we don’t give up.
