Subject: The Urgency of Sharing the Gospel (05/13/'24) -Message

Subject: The Urgency of Sharing the Gospel Dear Friends, I write to you with a message that weighs heavily on my heart: If we do not share the gospel with our neighbors, it is our death. The gospel of Jesus Christ is not a relic of the past, passed down solely through the labors of Peter, the Apostles, and Paul. It is a living, breathing testament, a heartbeat in the arteries of our cities. When thieves invade the Gospel, they believe in shadows, but a Gospel that does not reach the streets is no Gospel at all. Streets and sidewalks are the most vital organs of every city, pulsing with life and truth waiting to be spoken. "For nothing is hidden, except to be revealed; nor has anything been secret, but that it would come to light." (Mark 4:22; Luke 8:17) "For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil." (Ecclesiastes 12:14) The Gospel is a river, flowing into the streets, washing over sidewalks, baptizing cities with its truth. We are its messengers, its bearers, called to share, to spread, to make known. In every word, in every deed, let the Gospel flow. For it is life, it is light, it is the breath of our cities. In the bustling lanes and quiet corners, wherever hearts beat and souls seek, the Gospel must go, the light must shine, revealing, redeeming, and restoring the lost. The Gospel's light, never hidden, always bright, is our call, our duty, our life. In sharing, we live. In spreading, we breathe. Let us commit ourselves anew to this sacred task. May the streets and sidewalks of our cities be filled with the light of the Gospel, bringing life and hope to all. Blessings, Pastor Steven G. Lee (May 13, 2024)
