The Dissonance Between Creed and Conduct In the midst of our global community, where diverse religions preach peace and compassion, there lies a more pervasive and powerful doctrine—a deep-seated faith in violence as the preferred method to resolve conflicts and assert dominance. Despite the core teachings of peace in religions, our societies often prioritize aggression and force, revealing a stark contradiction between our professed beliefs and our actions. This calls for a profound reevaluation of our commitments. We must strive to not only preach but also practice the principles of peace, transforming our interactions and policies to reflect a true dedication to nonviolence and coexistence. Pastor Steven G.
