Statement on the Power of Redemption (04/12/'24) -Statement
Statement on the Power of Redemption
Fundamental Belief:
Everyone possesses the potential for redemption, regardless of their past actions. No one is so fundamentally flawed that they are beyond the possibility of redemption.
Understanding of Redemption:
Redemption is always within reach, highlighting that even the most adverse actions can be redirected towards positive outcomes. This is especially true when feelings of guilt lead to constructive behaviors.
Principle of Self-Redemption:
The journey to healing begins with self-redemption. Recognizing the need for personal change is the critical first step towards developing an awareness that fosters healing.
Supportive Teachings:
The proximity of redemption is a call to action: "Stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near." — Luke 21:28.
The transformative power of sacrifice is a cornerstone of faith: "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us." — Galatians 3:13.
