The Famine of the Word: A Lament for Spiritual Guidance In times of spiritual famine, where the words of the Lord are scarce, our hearts and communities suffer greatly. The Lord GOD warns of days when we will long not for bread or water, but for His divine guidance and wisdom. As Jeremiah laments, let our tears be a testament to our yearning for healing and understanding in the midst of this desolation. Even the prophets and priests wander, lost without the guidance they once knew. Let us seek earnestly to reconnect with the divine, to mend the great breaches within us, and to restore the spiritual nourishment that sustains our souls. Pastor Steven G. Lee (April 26, 2024)
