Understanding the Continuity of God’s Revelation and Action (04/26/'24) -Statement

Understanding the Continuity of God’s Revelation and Action The Old Testament: Introduced after humanity lost its connection with God, serving as a foundational spiritual guide. The New Testament: Followed when humanity drifted from the principles of the Old Testament, offering renewed hope and guidance. The Last Judgment: Expected after the abandonment of New Testament values, signaling a final reckoning. Human Wisdom and Divine Judgment Onset of Folly: Human prophecies and knowledge, especially when assumed before divine judgment, are the beginnings of folly. Such attempts to precede or predict divine will are misguided. The Eternal Significance of Crucifixion and Resurrection Historical and Ongoing Completion: In the Past: God's action through Crucifixion and Resurrection was completed, establishing a cornerstone for faith. In the Present: This divine act remains relevant and continues to influence. In the Future: It will persist as a completed work, eternally relevant and guiding humanity. Final Note: The Crucifixion and Resurrection are not just historical events but are ongoing testimonies to the everlasting and completed work of God, spanning past, present, and future.
