Rhythms of Renewal: Transforming Our Streets with Christ (05/10/'24) -Statement
Rhythms of Renewal: Transforming Our Streets with Christ
There's a world of difference between speaking and listening, where words often drown and ears fall short. Our mouths are too long, and our ears too short. But only the Holy Spirit breathes new rhythm—the rhythm of Christ, transforming us on the cross, renewing what is broken and bringing light where there was darkness.
The real Christ is out there every day, in the alleys and crowded sidewalks, in the tired eyes of those who wander and wait. Do you see Him? Do you feel Him, shaping our countenance toward neighbors and lifting up the broken and weary with grace and love?
We must reshape our streets and redefine the public spaces, creating a city where every neighborhood becomes a home. In the intricate alleys where street meets heart, let's ensure that our faith is more than just words. Let it be seen in hands and feet giving life to dusty corners, in practical faith blooming in every crevice, and in the countenance of Christ shining brightly on every face.
