Divine Assurance and Faith: A Message for Believers
Dear Believers,
In the soothing words of Luke 12:32, we find a reassuring promise: "Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom." This divine assurance is not merely about the blessings we receive; it's about God's joy and eagerness to provide for us. As we set aside our worries, let us focus on seeking God's kingdom with a trusting heart, knowing the depth of His care for us.
The wisdom of Hebrews 5:14, "Solid food is for the mature," reminds us that as our spiritual maturity deepens, so does our understanding of God's truths. This maturity teaches us that our journey through healing and spiritual recovery is an ongoing progression of hope and faith, not just an escape from difficulties.
Reflect on the story of the ten lepers in Luke 17:17-19, where only one returned to give thanks after being healed by Jesus. His gratitude, unexpected as it was, highlights the importance of recognizing and appreciating our blessings. Jesus's words to him, "RISE AND GO; YOUR FAITH HAS MADE YOU WELL," illustrate the powerful healing that comes from genuine faith.
Let us walk in faith and gratitude, not dwelling in fear or anxiety. Remember, it is through our faith and hope in Christ that the gates of Heaven open to us. Let’s embrace the blessings, care, and assurance that our faith in God promises.
With heartfelt prayers,
Pastor Steven G. Lee (April 18, 2024)
