Subject: The Shepherd's Echo: A Call to Love and Light (Luke 15:4-7) Dear Friends and Family, In the quiet moments of twilight, where light fades into the comforting embrace of night, we find the whispers of the Good Shepherd calling us, stirring the stars with His gentle voice. His journey through thorn and thistle, over rocky crests, and through silent valleys is a testament to His unending pursuit of those lost in the shadows. The cross, more than a symbol of suffering, represents the profound intersection of divine mercy and our earthly sorrows. It stands as a beacon of the greatest love, where the Shepherd Himself wears a crown of thorns as a royal diadem and considers it His joy. This narrative isn't just ancient history; it's a living call. Each one of us, like wandering sheep, has our own stories etched into the fabric of the universe. The Good Shepherd, with arms as wide as the horizon, gathers us all from the night. His mission is to bring every lost soul into the warmth of His divine embrace. Let's walk together in these footsteps of relentless love and grace. Let's learn to seek out those who are lost and lonely, and let's rejoice loudly with every soul that finds its way home. The Shepherd’s echo is not just a call for them; it is a call for us—to find our place by His side. In every heartbeat of the lost, the Shepherd’s heart also beats. And in the act of finding others, we discover more about ourselves. Within His embrace, the vast expanse of grace unfolds, and the world, once overwhelming in its vastness, becomes a close-knit tapestry of lives intertwined by love. May this message inspire you as much as it has inspired me. Let us carry the echo of the Shepherd’s call in our hearts and extend it through our hands and words. Together, let's light up the world with the love that has first loved us. In peace and love, Pastor Steven G. Lee (April 15, 2024)
