Statement on the Supremacy of Genuine Faith and the Incomparable Power of the Gospel (05/25/'24)

Statement on the Supremacy of Genuine Faith and the Incomparable Power of the Gospel In our daily lives, words are plentiful, but God values actions above all. He observes our deeds, for they reflect our true beliefs. As stated in Jeremiah 15:19, "If you do extract the precious from the worthless, YOU SHALL BE AS MY MOUTH." Our actions demonstrate our faith, while our words merely convey our thoughts. The gospel of Jesus, though it may appear flawed like nets with large holes, is in fact complete and misses nothing. Despite seeming inefficient, the gospel's divine origin and transformative power make it thorough and impactful. Jesus did not contend with worldly powers directly but transcended them through His divine mission, showcasing the gospel's unmatched spiritual authority. To bring heaven's presence on earth, we must repent and align our will with God's will. This alignment allows us to manifest God's will in our lives, bridging the gap between heaven and earth. When believers prioritize God's will, the kingdom of heaven advances on earth. Let us commit to living our faith genuinely, emphasizing actions that reflect our true beliefs and embracing the transformative power of the gospel. By doing so, we actively participate in the realization of God's kingdom on earth. Pastor Steven G. Lee (May 25, 2024)
