Subject: Contrasting Priorities in Faith (04/24/'24) -Message

Subject: Contrasting Priorities in Faith Dear Friends, I wanted to share a thought that has been on my mind lately regarding our faith. It's about the contrasting priorities we often see within religious communities. On one hand, there's a strong emphasis on filling churches with people. It's about gathering congregations, building attendance, and fostering a sense of community within these physical spaces. On the other hand, there's the profound message of the Gospel, which directs our focus towards filling people with God. It speaks to the transformation of hearts, the nurturing of spiritual growth, and the embodiment of divine love and grace within each individual. This dichotomy raises intriguing questions about the true essence of our faith and where our priorities lie. How do we balance the tangible aspects of communal worship with the deeper, more personal journey of spiritual enlightenment? I'd love to hear your thoughts and insights on this matter. Warm regards, Pastor Steven G. Lee (April 24, 2024)
