Message: The Power of Actions and Miracles (05/24/'24)
Actions and Miracles
Subject: The Power of Actions and Miracles
Dear Friends,
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share with you a reflection on the profound impact of actions and miracles, inspired by the life and teachings of Jesus.
Prose Reflection:
In the sacred temple, Jesus moved with purpose, driving out the merchants and overturning tables, clearing a space for the blind and the lame who came to Him seeking healing and hope. His actions spoke louder than words ever could, each miracle a testament to His divine mission.
He was wary of those whose words were empty, their deeds betraying the truth they claimed to uphold. In a world where actions resonate, people are less confusing when their lives reflect their words. We must learn that our actions ripple through others' lives, reminding us to tread carefully, for it’s not always about us.
Jesus said, "If I am not doing the works of My Father, do not believe Me. But if I am, let the works speak, even if you doubt My words, believe in the miracles, for they reveal the truth, that the Father is in Me, and I am in the Father." In this, we find a profound unity, a call to align our deeds with our faith, a testament to the power of actions, speaking the language of the divine.
Poem:
In the sacred temple, Jesus moved with purpose,
Driving out the merchants, overturning tables,
Clearing space for the blind and lame,
Seeking healing, seeking hope.
Actions spoke louder than words,
Each miracle a testament divine.
Wary of empty words,
Deeds betraying claimed truths.
Actions resonate,
Lives reflecting words.
Learn that our actions ripple,
Treading carefully, it’s not always about us.
"If not doing the works of My Father,
Do not believe Me," He declared.
"But if I am, let the works speak,
Believe in miracles, even if you doubt My words.
They reveal the truth,
The Father in Me, I in the Father."
A profound unity,
Deeds aligned with faith,
The power of actions, divine language.
I hope this reflection and poem inspire you to consider the power of your actions and the impact they have on others. Let us strive to align our deeds with our faith, embodying the divine message through our actions.
Warm regards,
Pastor Steven G. Lee (May 24, 2024)
