Meanwhile, the Gospel of Jesus Christ offers a form of salvation that transcends the capabilities of traditional mental health clinics and hospitals, raising questions about widespread spiritual and emotional wellness. In spiritual teachings, the role of a good shepherd is not to entertain but to nurture and guide, akin to how sheep are fed and cared for, turning grass into wool. This analogy underscores the importance of focused spiritual leadership and the irrelevance of distractions that do not aid in fulfilling one's fundamental duties. Furthermore, the scriptures remind us of our responsibilities to those in need, as highlighted in Matthew 25:44-45. The failure to serve "the least of these" is equated with neglecting Christ himself, emphasizing the moral imperative to act compassionately and justly. The metaphor of a plentiful harvest with few laborers, as taught by Jesus, calls for more individuals to step forward and engage in meaningful work that addresses both spiritual and societal needs.
