Subject: Embodying Our Faith Through Actions of Justice and Love (05/06/'24) -Statement

Subject: Embodying Our Faith Through Actions of Justice and Love In the sanctuaries of our hearts, celebrations falter and songs fall silent. The divine voice resounds, declaring a rejection of hollow festivities and soulless offerings. It calls instead for justice that cascades like relentless waters and righteousness that surges endlessly. This true festivity, where spirit and action converge, demands that we live our prayers through our deeds: offering rest to the weary, help to the needy, and support to the poor. Our faith must be a vessel for transformation, embodying belief as a force for change. We are called to await the Spirit, which promises not just presence but power—a baptism in divine force. This power, bestowed from the heavens, fuels our pursuit of justice and righteousness, infusing our every act with infinite potential. At the intersection of faith and works, we manifest our true prayer not in words, but through our relentless stride towards justice and love in our daily lives. Pastor Steven G. Lee (March 6, 2024)
