Through the Needle's Eye (05/07/'24) -Passage

Through the Needle's Eye God seeks the lost one to keep all the rest. With compassion and mercy, he leaves the flock to find the one wandering soul, who feels adrift and unseen. For in seeking the lost, he reveals miracles—a camel threading through the eye of a needle, a path made straight through brambles. Impossibility dissolves into possibility when the shepherd leads the strayed back to the fold, bringing warmth to those long chilled by the cold. More than half the homeless already bear the sacred mark of water upon their brows, baptized yet wandering, yearning for the light. They are the lost ones, whom God seeks to save and embrace with gentle arms, that not one should slip through the needle’s thread again. Pastor Steven G. Lee (May 7, 2024)
