Financial Insecurity and the Rise of Homelessness in America (04/17/'24) -Message

Financial Insecurity and the Rise of Homelessness in America Alarmingly, nearly 60% of Americans are on the brink of homelessness, positioned just one paycheck away from severe financial distress. Recent data from 2023 highlights the largest annual increase in homelessness ever recorded, a whopping 12%. This spike underscores critical issues such as escalating housing costs, wages that fail to keep pace with the cost of living, and entrenched systemic challenges. It's imperative that we tackle these issues head-on, advocating for systemic changes in housing, healthcare, and employment policies to prevent further crises and help those affected. It's time for urgent action to ensure financial security and stable housing for all. Join the conversation and help make a difference. #EndHomelessness #FinancialSecurity #HousingCrisis Pastor Steven G. Lee (April 18, 2024)
