Subject: Justice and Love in the Face of Poverty Fight poverty in addiction, not the poor. God stands for justice for the poor, and poverty is the worst form of violence. Seek justice because force without justice is tyranny. Love mercy and walk humbly with God's love, for freedom cannot exist without justice. There is only one path to Heaven on earth: Love at the Cross. Poverty in addiction destroys everything in its path, devouring those who fall to wealth, power, possessions, drugs, alcohol, job titles, and social status. If we do not create a New Culture on Our Cross, these temptations will catch up with us as chains, enslaving us once more. "You, my brothers and sisters, are called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'
