Subject: The Transformative Power of Action: A Reflection this Easter (04/08/'24) -Message

Subject: The Transformative Power of Action: A Reflection this Easter As we embrace the spirit of Easter, it’s a poignant time to ponder a timeless question: What holds greater value, knowledge or action? The essence of learning truly manifests not merely in the accumulation of knowledge but in the application of what we know to our lives. It's through our actions that the lessons we learn illuminate our lives, granting them a profound clarity and purpose. This concept finds a sacred embodiment in the events we commemorate this Easter—God's sanctity was revealed through the profound acts of the crucifixion and resurrection. These actions don't just symbolize faith but underscore a universal truth applicable to all aspects of our lives: the transition from knowing to doing is transformative. It's when our knowledge is put into practice that it gains its true meaning and becomes a beacon of light in our lives, guiding us towards a path of righteousness and holiness. This Easter, let us welcome the joy and reflection this season brings by not only cherishing the knowledge and beliefs we hold dear but also by embodying them through our actions. May our deeds reflect the sanctity and teachings of this holy season, as inspired by the divine example of action through crucifixion and resurrection. As we reflect on this message, let's also delve into the wisdom offered by the scriptures that further illuminate this truth, including James 4:17, 2 Peter 2:21, Galatians 4:9, Philippians 3:8, Matthew 22:29, John 13:7, 8:32, Luke 23:34, 12:48 among others, which provide a foundational context for understanding the importance of transforming knowledge into action. Wishing you a profoundly meaningful and Happy Easter. Warm regards, Pastor Steven G. Lee (April 8, 2024)
