Title: Between Knowing and Becoming: An Easter Reflection (04/08/'24) -Statement

Title: Between Knowing and Becoming: An Easter Reflection Statement: As the Easter season unfolds, it brings with it a profound contemplation on the essence of knowledge and action. True learning is epitomized not merely by the accumulation of knowledge but significantly through its application in our daily lives. This application imbues our existence with a newfound clarity and purpose, mirroring the sanctity revealed through God's pivotal actions of crucifixion and resurrection. Such divine acts not only symbolize faith but also accentuate a universal principle: the transformative journey from knowing to doing. This Easter, we are reminded to embody the teachings and beliefs we hold dear, translating them into actions that reflect the profound messages of this sacred season. Inspired by the divine example of action, we are called to make the transition from knowledge to action, illuminating our lives and guiding us towards righteousness. As we engage in this reflective journey, we draw upon the wisdom of scriptures such as James 4:17, 2 Peter 2:21, Galatians 4:9, Philippians 3:8, Matthew 22:29, John 13:7, 8:32, and Luke 23:34, 12:48, among others. These passages offer foundational insights into the significance of transforming knowledge into meaningful action. This Easter, let us renew our commitment to not only cherish but also live out the values and teachings of this holy season, allowing our actions to bear witness to the transformative power of faith and the sanctity of doing. May our deeds resonate with the teachings of Easter, embodying the light of wisdom turned into action. Pastor Steven G. Lee (April 8, 2024)
