Embracing the Eternal: A Statement on the Love of God in Christ (03/26/'24) -Statement

Embracing the Eternal: A Statement on the Love of God in Christ In the quiet moments of reflection, where the divine presence whispers softly to our hearts, there lies an unbreakable promise that transcends time and space. We, as believers, stand firm and victorious, not by our own strength, but through the immeasurable love of God manifest in Christ Jesus. This love assures us that no force—be it the finality of death, the trials of life, celestial powers, or the uncertainties of the future—can ever separate us from the divine embrace that holds us securely. In the journey to the cross, Jesus implored us not to weep for Him but to consider our own lives and the legacy we leave for future generations. The scene of His crucifixion, where soldiers gambled for His clothes, symbolizes not only His suffering but the profound sacrifice made for our redemption. This act of love and mercy stands as a beacon of hope and a testament to the depth of God's love for humanity. The scriptures remind us that Christ is our one true leader, a guiding light whose teachings and sacrifice offer a path of wisdom and grace. In His footsteps, we find direction for our lives, drawing strength from His example and comfort in His promises. As recipients of God's comfort and grace, we are called to be conduits of the same compassion to others. In our interactions and through our support, we reflect the love we have received, extending hope and encouragement to those around us. This statement is a testament to the unyielding love of God in Christ—a love that empowers, guides, and comforts us through every season of life. It is a call to remember the sacrifices made for our benefit, to follow the leadership of Christ, and to share the profound love and comfort we have received with the world around us. In doing so, we weave together a tapestry of faith, hope, and love that enriches our lives and the lives of those we touch. Pastor Steven G. Lee (March 26, 2024)
