Reflections on Faith and Resurrection: The Divine Reality Amidst Human Doubt (03/29/'24) -Statement

Reflections on Faith and Resurrection: The Divine Reality Amidst Human Doubt In a narrative rich with symbolism and divine messages, we observe two significant moments of destruction followed by enlightenment. Firstly, Moses shatters the Stone Tablets, a symbol of divine law and guidance. Similarly, the Priests' denial of the Son of God echoes a rejection of divine truth. However, the first Easter night unveils a moment of profound revelation when Christ, defying the constraints of the physical and spiritual, appears to question and comfort His followers. He confronts their doubts directly, asking, "Why are you troubled?" and "Why do questionings rise in your hearts?" Demonstrating His physical resurrection, He declares, "It is I myself. A spirit does not have flesh and bones" (Luke 24:39), challenging their disbelief and affirming His presence and reality. This narrative invites reflection on faith, doubt, and the tangible truth of the resurrection, encouraging a deeper understanding of the divine amidst human uncertainty. Pastor Steven G.
