Subject: Echoes of Persistence: The Quest for Divine Acknowledgment 🥁✨ (03/23/'24) -Message

Subject: Echoes of Persistence: The Quest for Divine Acknowledgment 🥁✨ Dear Friends, In our journey through life, we often find ourselves standing before closed doors, knocking in the hope of being let in. This endeavor is not just about seeking entry but a deeper connection and understanding. Imagine the streets filled with the sound of knocking, a testament to our relentless pursuit, our attempts to draw attention, to connect. Despite our efforts, some doors remain shut. Our attempts grow louder and more desperate, symbolized by the increasing volume and size of our drums. Yet, we're reminded that a door opens only from the inside. This truth highlights the essence of connection and acceptance—it requires a mutual willingness, an open heart from both ends. We may consider alternative paths, scaling walls like thieves, yet our integrity calls us to knock rightfully. Our persistence in knocking, even on desolate streets where our cries go unnoticed, poses a question: Will the heavens remain indifferent to our steadfast faith and hope? Our small drums are not just instruments of noise but the echoes of our soul, connecting the earthly to the divine. They symbolize our undying spirit and the message we carry—the gospel of hope, faith, and perseverance. Let us reflect on the teachings of Matthew 7:7-8 and Luke 11:5-8. They remind us that through persistence and faith, doors will open. Not merely because of friendship or obligation, but because of our unwavering determination. May this message inspire you to keep knocking, to persist in your quest for connection, understanding, and divine acknowledgment. Let us not despair in the silence of unanswered knocks; instead, let us find strength in our continuous effort, for our small drums carry the profound gospel of the cross, connecting heaven and earth. With hope and faith, Pastor Steven G. Lee (March 23, 2024)
