Subject: The Persistent Echo of Faith: A Message of Hope and Determination (03/23/'24) -Message

Subject: The Persistent Echo of Faith: A Message of Hope and Determination Dear Friends, I hope this message finds you well and steadfast in your journey. Today, I want to share a reflection on persistence, faith, and the pursuit of divine acknowledgment that resonates deeply with our collective experiences. In life, we often encounter doors that seem to remain closed, no matter how fervently we knock. Picture ourselves on streets filled with the echoes of our attempts to connect, our desire for entry not just into places but into hearts and understanding. These efforts, symbolized by the sound of our knocking growing louder and the drums we beat in desperation, remind us of a profound truth: a door opens only from the inside. This metaphor serves as a powerful reminder that connection and acceptance require openness and willingness from both ends. Yet, there are moments when we contemplate alternative means, akin to climbing walls uninvited. However, our integrity and values guide us back to the rightful path of patience and persistence. Our relentless pursuit, symbolized by the persistent beating of small drums, raises an important question: Will the divine remain indifferent to our dedication and cries for attention on these seemingly desolate streets? These small drums, though they may seem inconsequential, are in fact the echoes of our souls, bridging the earthly with the divine. They symbolize our resilience and carry a message that transcends the immediate—a gospel of hope, faith, and perseverance. In reflecting on the teachings of Matthew 7:7-8 and Luke 11:5-8, we are reminded of the power of persistence. These passages assure us that doors will indeed open, not merely out of obligation or friendship, but because of our unwavering determination and faith. Let this message serve as a beacon of hope, inspiring you to continue knocking with faith and determination. In the silence of unanswered efforts, let us find strength and comfort in our perseverance, for it is through our steadfast spirit that we connect heaven and earth, embodying the profound gospel of hope. With heartfelt wishes for your continued strength and faith Pastor Steven G. Lee (March 23, 2024)
