Embracing Grace: The Challenge of Love and Destiny (06/29/'24) -Message

Embracing Grace: The Challenge of Love and Destiny Dear Beloved, Today, I invite you to come and stand here, at the precipice of hope where our journey begins anew. Stretch out your withered hands, for in this sacred space, grace pours forth like a river, quenching the thirst of our weary souls. Destiny is not a fleeting chance or a whisper in the wind, but a matter of choice. It is a path carved with intention and courage. It is not something to be waited for in idle silence but a challenge to be met with the fierce resolve of hearts on fire for God. "Love God and your neighbors as yourself," Jesus commands us, echoing through the ages with timeless wisdom. In these simple yet profound words lies the essence of life, the heartbeat of our existence. To love is to live, truly and deeply. It is to extend our hands, our hearts, our very beings beyond the confines of our fears and doubts. Jesus' words, "Do this, and you will live," invite us into a life of profound connection and purpose. This is not a passive existence but a dynamic journey, where love is our compass and faith our guiding star. We are not to wait for destiny to find us but to challenge it, to embrace it with open arms and unwavering hearts. Come and stand here, where faith meets the test, where the divine and the human intersect in a dance of grace and truth. In loving, giving, and living, we find our true selves, blessed beyond measure. Here, in this sacred moment, we are called to be more, to do more, to love more. Here, we discover that our destiny is not written in the stars but in the choices we make and the love we give. Let us embrace grace, rise to the challenge of love, and forge our destiny with faith and courage. May we always remember that in loving God and our neighbors, we truly live. With love and blessings, Pastor Steven G. Lee (June 29, 2024)
