Embracing the Significant Exodus: A Message of Eternal Life (06/29/'24) -Message

Embracing the Significant Exodus: A Message of Eternal Life Dear Beloved, Today, I invite you to reflect on a profound truth revealed through the life and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. In a world where wealth and possessions often define success and fulfillment, Jesus presents us with a radical and transformative perspective: by having no possessions, He possessed all. His inheritance was not of this world but the boundless and eternal kingdom of heaven. Jesus' journey was marked by a rejection of the forces of evil, demonstrating His unwavering love for God. This love was not confined to the material or the temporal but was deeply rooted in the eternal. Through His ultimate act of surrender—placing His life into God’s hands—He exposed the essence of everlasting life. This significant exodus, from mortality to divinity, from the transient to the eternal, is a path that Jesus illuminated for us. Thanks be to Christ in God, for through Him, the mysteries of life and death are revealed. In His life, we see a testament to the power of surrender. Jesus showed us that true possession lies not in what we accumulate but in our relationship with God. By possessing nothing of this world, He possessed everything in the realm of the divine. His victory was won through the cross, a symbol of sacrifice, love, and redemption. This significant exodus is our invitation to leave behind the ephemeral and embrace the eternal. In His rejection of worldly desires, we find love’s purest form—a love that stands firm in the light of God, unwavering and eternal. Today, let us embrace this significant exodus. Let us understand that our true inheritance is the kingdom of heaven. Through Christ, we are made new, and we inherit the kingdom now. His journey teaches us that in giving up all, we gain everything. In surrendering our lives to God, we discover our salvation and eternal life. As we walk this path illuminated by Jesus, let us see the true value of life—not in what we possess but in whom we trust. Let us leave behind the ephemeral and step into the eternal embrace of God’s kingdom. May we all find the courage to surrender, the strength to reject the forces of evil, and the grace to possess the kingdom of heaven through our relationship with Christ. In His eternal love and grace, Pastor Steven G. Lee (June 29, 2024)
