The Gospel's Call: A Message of Faith in Action Beloved congregation, Today, I want to remind us all of the profound essence of the gospel. The gospel isn't an advertisement, nor a fleeting headline vying for attention in the media. It does not seek popularity but stands as a steadfast practice, born of faith, nurtured in hope, and guided by the path to eternal life. The gospel calls for effort, for it is through tireless striving that we align with God's will on earth, echoing His kingdom's aim in heaven. Without faith in action, the gospel remains lifeless, a dormant seed awaiting the touch of belief. It must be put into practice, for it is in this active faith that we see the gospel's true power. Remember, the gospel is Good News, not mere good advice. It beckons us to believe and behave, to live out the transformative power of Christ's sacrifice. It is not man's quest for God, but God's search for man, a divine initiative that bridges the chasm of separation. It is the action of an announcement, resounding in the person of Christ, proclaiming salvation and redemption. So let us embrace the gospel, not as a distant ideal but as a living, breathing truth. Let our faith ignite and our actions reflect the profound reality of God's love. In the gospel's resonance, we find the eternal light that guides our journey, illuminating the way to the fulfillment of God's will on earth as it is in heaven. Believe it and behave it. The gospel is God's search for man, not man's search for God. It is an announcement of Christ's action, calling us to a life of faith and obedience.
