Message: Embracing the Journey of Truth and Redemption (06/28/'24)

Message: Embracing the Journey of Truth and Redemption (Subject: Unveiling the Path: Nakedness and New Beginnings) Dear Friends, Today, we gather to reflect on a profound and timeless truth: the journey of human existence is intricately woven with the threads of good and evil, suffering and renewal. At the heart of this journey lies the Crossroads of Truth: Nakedness and Redemption. In the shadow of good, evil reveals itself with stark clarity. It is through the contrast of darkness that light shines brightest. Here, at this sacred intersection, we are invited to dance between these profound truths, to witness the revelation that comes from the interplay of opposites. Beneath the cross, where the paths of morality entwine, our souls are laid bare. We are stripped of pretense and artifice, standing exposed in truth's embrace. This vulnerability is not a sign of weakness but a necessary step toward understanding and embracing our true selves. The cross, a symbol of sacrifice and redemption, calls us to confront our deepest fears and flaws. Crucifixion’s pain is not just a historical event but a personal experience. It is the crucible where our past mistakes and regrets are burned away. Yet, from this crucible emerges the dawn of resurrection, bringing hope from the depths of despair. It is in these moments of profound suffering that we truly understand the journey from death to new life. To be born again is to awaken from the slumber of ignorance and fear, to emerge from the shadows of our past. In the garden of truth, we find a new beginning, where the song of redemption echoes within our hearts. The ancient question from Genesis still reverberates today: "Who told you of your naked fear?" From Eden's fall to Calvary's crest, this journey of truth is our soul's quest. At the crossroads of good and evil, we find the strength to embrace the divine will. It is through our nakedness and vulnerability that we discover the grace of redemption. In the light of truth, we find our place and purpose. This journey, marked by the interplay of suffering and renewal, reveals the essence of our existence and the profound transformation that comes through faith. Let us embrace this journey with open hearts and minds, acknowledging our vulnerabilities and seeking the truth that sets us free. In doing so, we uncover the path to redemption and the new beginnings that await us. With grace and peace, Pastor Steven G. Lee (June 28, 2024)
