Reflecting on True Sight and Spiritual Insight (06/26/'24) -Message

Reflecting on True Sight and Spiritual Insight Dear Friends, I hope this message finds you well. I recently reflected on a profound spiritual concept that I wanted to share with you, drawn from the words of Jesus about sight and blindness. In the gospel of John, Jesus declares, "I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind." This paradoxical statement invites us to examine our own spiritual perceptions. It suggests that true insight comes not from confidence in our own vision but through the humility to acknowledge our blindness. The lesson here is striking—those who claim to see without the guidance of divine light remain in darkness, blinded by their certainty. Yet, those who admit their limitations and seek vision beyond themselves are granted the true sight that comes from spiritual enlightenment. As we navigate our daily lives, filled with both challenges and routine, may we strive to be aware of our own spiritual state. Let us seek not just to see but to truly perceive, guided by the light that transforms our understanding and actions. This reflection has been a reminder for me to question, with humility, the clarity of my own vision and to seek guidance that transcends my limitations. I hope it resonates with you as well, encouraging a deeper introspection into how we perceive ourselves and the world around us. Wishing you insight and peace on your journey, Pastor Steven G.
