Discovering True Worship in Our Daily Works (06/26/'24) -Message

Subject: Discovering True Worship in Our Daily Works Dear Friends, I hope this message finds you well and thriving in your walk of faith. As we each strive to live out our Christian beliefs, I've been reflecting deeply on what it truly means to worship God—not just in our prayers or church services, but in every moment of our daily lives. True worship, I've come to understand, goes far beyond our traditional views of prayer and praise. It is embodied in the very essence of our daily actions, especially those that serve and uplift others. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, taught us through His life that working alongside Him in caring for the needy, the poor, and the oppressed is the purest form of worship we can offer. Consider how Jesus emphasized that if people could not believe His words, they should at least believe in His works (John 10:38). He showed us that the divine resides not only in miraculous signs but in the simple, consistent acts of kindness and justice. Every act of compassion, every effort to alleviate suffering, and every moment we spend helping others are not just good deeds—they are sacred offerings to God. Let us remind ourselves that each day presents a new opportunity to worship through our actions. As we engage in our daily tasks, let us do so with the intention of working together with Christ. This is how we turn our entire lives into a living testament to His love and grace. May this understanding inspire and invigorate your faith as much as it has mine. Let us commit to being the hands and feet of Jesus in the world, truly embodying the worship He desires from each of us. Blessings and peace, Pastor Steven G. Lee (June 26, 2024)
