The Radiance of Truth: A Message of Purpose and Freedom (06/29/'24) -Message

The Radiance of Truth: A Message of Purpose and Freedom Dear Brothers and Sisters, In the vast landscape of our lives, we often find ourselves yearning for something greater, something that transcends our daily struggles and shortcomings. It is in the Gospel that we find this treasure, a beacon of truth that surpasses all we lack. The Gospel's light, though sometimes piercing with its honesty, never comforts us with lies. Instead, it calls us to confront our past deceptions and break free from the chains of our own making. As we journey through life, we may become prisoners of our mistakes, burdened by regrets and missed opportunities. Yet, let us remember this profound truth: God's plan is greater than our mistakes. Each of us is here for a special reason, intricately woven into the grand design of His grace. Our existence is not solely for our own needs but for the sake of others. Every day, every moment, is a testament to this divine purpose. The scripture reminds us, "For none of us lives to himself, and none dies to himself alone" (Romans 14:7). We are interconnected, our lives and destinies intertwined in a shared journey. It is within this divine tapestry that we find our true calling. As Jesus proclaimed, "I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep" (John 10:11). This sacrificial love is the cornerstone of our faith, a beacon of hope that shines even in the darkest of nights. Let us then release the grip of past shadows and step into the light anew. Each day is a gift, not because we needed it, but because someone out there needs us. In this divine mission, we find our true purpose, uplifted by the Gospel's promise. So, dear friends, let us embrace this greater truth. Let us shed the weight of past lies and mistakes. For in the Gospel's radiant light, we discover a purpose far beyond ourselves, a love that binds us all, and a truth that sets us free. May we walk in this truth, guided by the light of the Gospel, and live out our divine purpose with courage and grace. Blessings to you all, Pastor Steven G. Lee (June 29, 2024)
