More Beautiful Than Solomon's Kingdom (06/29/'24) -Statement

More Beautiful Than Solomon's Kingdom Cherished Beyond Measure You are a vibrant piece of divine artistry in the vast tapestry of creation, not a small thread. Your place outshines the grandeur of Solomon's kingdom. Look at the flowers: simple, unadorned, yet clothed in a beauty that surpasses the finest robes of any earthly king. They do no work, they spin no thread, yet they stand as a testament to the Creator’s boundless love and attention to detail. Jesus, in His gentle rebuke, calls us to open our eyes and hearts, “Even Solomon, in all his glory, was not clothed like one of these.” The flowers, in their silent elegance, teach us of faith and providence. They remind us that our worth in God's eyes is not measured by our toil or achievements but by His immeasurable grace and love. “You of little faith!” His words echo through time, urging us to trust in the unseen, to believe in the care that crafted the lilies and clothed them in splendor. If the flowers, transient and fragile, are adorned with such glory, how much more are we, the children of His heart? In the kingdom of God, you are cherished, not for what you do, but for who you are. More than the lilies, you are prized, held in the tender gaze of the Almighty. Let this truth sink deep into your soul, dispelling every doubt and fear. Embrace the faith that sees beyond the visible, the faith that knows you are more beautiful than Solomon's kingdom, more loved than you can fathom. Pastor Steven G. Lee (June 29, 2024)
