Subject: Embracing the Power of Grace and Mercy (06/29/'24) -Message

Subject: Embracing the Power of Grace and Mercy Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Today, I want to share a profound truth with you—a truth that calls us to yield our spirits into grace and mercy, a divine sanctuary where God's love reaches down to the unlovely, wrapping us in His compassionate embrace. We are reminded that no signs shall be given to us except the sign of the cross, the ultimate symbol of grace and mercy in Christ. This grace is not an excuse to remain in our sins; rather, it is the power that breaks our bondage. God's grace runs deeper than our chains. It is our sustenance and our labor, as Jesus explained, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to finish His work" (John 4:34). In yielding to grace and mercy, we find ourselves at the intersection of divine compassion and transformative power. Grace is not merely a gentle pat on the back but a mighty force that shatters our shackles, liberating us from the depths of our own making. Grace nourishes our souls and drives our actions, reminding us that our true sustenance lies in doing the will of the One who sent us. In the silence of surrender, we hear the divine whisper urging us to repent and turn back, as echoed in Acts 3:19. So, let us repent and turn back with hearts wide open, ready to be molded and renewed. Grace and mercy await us, steadfast and true, deeper than any chain and stronger than any sin. In this sacred yielding, we embrace our true food and work, aligning with the will of the One who sent us. In the shadow of the cross, we find our path illuminated by the boundless grace and unending mercy of Christ. Let us walk this path with faith, knowing that as we yield to His grace and mercy, we are transformed and empowered to do His will. May the grace and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Pastor Steven G. Lee (June 29, 2024)
