Embracing Our Mission: Proclaiming the Gospel with Surrendered Hearts (06/29/'24) -Message

Embracing Our Mission: Proclaiming the Gospel with Surrendered Hearts Dear Friends, In the quiet moments of our hearts, there resides a profound truth that echoes through time: to preach the Gospel is to make Jesus known, not for our glory, but for the glory of God. It is a declaration rooted in the unwavering conviction of the apostle Paul, who boldly proclaimed, "I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes" (Romans 1:16). Imagine a gathering where hearts are ablaze with the fervor of sharing—not mere words, but the transformative message of grace and redemption. Amongst near neighbors and familiar faces, the Gospel finds fertile ground. Here, amidst us, miracles are not just tales of old but living testimonies unfolding in our everyday lives. Through our words and deeds, the Gospel weaves its tapestry of hope and renewal, touching hearts that yearn for meaning and purpose. Each proclamation, each act of kindness, becomes a ripple in the vast ocean of God's love—a love that knows no bounds, embracing all who turn towards its light. In this symphony of faith, we witness God's handiwork—not in grand displays, but in the quiet transformation of souls. It is the miracle of hardened hearts softened, lost souls found, lives forever changed by the power of God's unending grace. For in the Gospel's simple yet profound truth, salvation is offered freely to all who believe. Let us, with surrendered hearts and voices lifted high, continue to proclaim the Gospel and make Jesus known in every corner of our world. Together, we participate in God's ongoing work of redemption, bringing light to darkness and hope to the hopeless. This is our calling, our mission—to share the Gospel with boldness and compassion, knowing that God continues to work miracles in our midst, one surrendered heart at a time. May our lives be a testament to the transformative power of the Gospel, shining brightly as beacons of hope in a world in need of God's love. With love and faith, Pastor Steven G. Lee (June 29, 2024)
