Embracing the Divine Measure of Grace (06/13/'24) -Message
Embracing the Divine Measure of Grace
In the tapestry of existence, God wields mercy and grace as His instruments, using Jesus Christ as a plumb line, revealing our misalignments. We are walls, crooked and crumbling, yet He sees not the fractures but the potential for restoration. God’s love extends to the black sheep, the odd ducks, the rejects, the loners, the lost, the forgotten, and the last. These are His cherished ones, souls of unmatched beauty, hidden beneath layers of life's burdens.
"Do I not have the right to do as I please with what is mine?" He asks, a divine artist reclaiming His canvas. "Or are you envious because I am generous?" In these words, Jesus unravels the paradox of divine favor, where the last are lifted first, and the first humbled.
We see the black sheep, cast aside by the flock, yet in God's eyes, their wool is pure and radiant. The odd ducks, awkward in their movements, glide gracefully upon the waters of His mercy. The rejects, tossed away by society, are treasures in His kingdom. The loners, isolated and unseen, are embraced by His love. The lost, wandering in shadows, find their path illuminated by His light. The forgotten and the last, those who linger in the background, step into the forefront of His grace.
In this divine alignment, we find our true measure. God’s love, vast and unfathomable, transcends human judgment. It is a love that sees beyond the exterior, into the depths of our souls, where beauty lies waiting to be revealed. The plumb line of grace does not merely expose our flaws but invites us into a divine restoration, where every soul is cherished, every life valued, and every heart realigned with His eternal love.
So, let us embrace this divine measure, where mercy and grace flow freely, and the last shall be first, and the first shall be last. In this sacred dance, we find our true place, in harmony with the Creator's divine plan, beautifully and perfectly aligned.
