Subject: Embracing Trust and Divine Provision (06/03/'24) -Message

Subject: Embracing Trust and Divine Provision Dear Friends, I hope this message finds you well. As we navigate through the complexities of life, I am reminded of the profound truth that when we trust God, we gain the clarity to properly read and understand all human endeavors. In the quietude of our hearts, we can perceive how God's mercy and grace have been treated, recognizing both their embrace and dismissal. Reflecting on the words from Ezekiel 13:19, "You have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to kill the souls who should not die, and to save the souls alive who should not live, by your lying to my people who listen to lies," we see the sorrow of truth corrupted and sacred values traded for the mundane. Yet, in this lament, we are also reminded of the power of faith and divine provision. Consider the story from John 6:9, "There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are these among so many?" In this moment of apparent scarcity, we witness a miracle of faith multiplying humble offerings into abundance. This narrative culminates in John 6:13, "So they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with broken pieces from the five barley loaves, which were left over by those who had eaten," symbolizing grace unspent and mercy unbounded. God's silence is not an absence but a fertile ground where our hope and faith take root and flourish. It is in this quiet trust that our hearts align with His truth, our vision clears, and our souls come alive. May we all find solace and strength in the echoes of divine provision and trust in God's unwavering love. Blessings, Pastor Steven G. Lee (June 3, 2024)
