Subject: The Eternal Flame of Living Truth (06/16/'24) -Message

Subject: The Eternal Flame of Living Truth Dear Friends, I hope this message finds you well. Today, I am inspired to share with you a reflection on the profound encounter between Moses and God at the burning bush, and its eternal significance as echoed in Jesus' teachings. In the quiet wilderness, where sands whisper secrets of time, Moses encountered a sight both ordinary and divine—a bush aflame yet unconsumed. It stood as a paradox, a mystery burning with the intensity of a thousand suns, yet its leaves remained untouched by the fire. Before this marvel, Moses felt the weight of eternity pressing upon him, a divine presence that filled the air with an unspoken promise. A voice emerged from the flames, resonating with the depth of ancient promises and the certainty of things yet to come. "I am the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob," it declared, each name a testament to a covenant unbroken. "Not of the dead, but of the living I am." This God, timeless and unchanging, was not confined to the past nor limited by the future. "I AM WHO I AM," the voice proclaimed, an identity that transcends time and space, a name that speaks of existence itself, eternal and boundless. Moses stood, his heart ablaze with reverence and awe, in the presence of the Great I AM. This encounter would mark him forever, infusing his mission with divine purpose and unshakeable faith. The bush, ever burning, ever whole, became a symbol of a truth that neither time nor death could extinguish. Centuries flowed like rivers, carrying the echoes of that divine declaration. On a dusty path, amidst the throngs of seekers and skeptics, Jesus stood as the living embodiment of that ancient voice. "The God of the living," He declared, bridging the chasm between the mortal and the divine. His words, like the burning bush, ignited hearts and minds, revealing a God intimately involved in the tapestry of life. The eternal flame of truth that burned in the wilderness, now illuminated by Jesus' teachings, continues to guide us. It is a light that pierces through the darkness of doubt and despair, a beacon of hope that leads us to the understanding that in Him, life finds its fullest expression. The God who spoke to Moses, the God who walked among us, remains the God of the living, forever unchanging, forever near. May this message remind you of the enduring presence and guidance of the eternal God, the One who is always with us, the Great I AM. Blessings, Pastor Steven G. Lee (June 16, 2024)
