Breaking Boundaries: The Universal Call of the Gospel (06/21/'24) -Message

Breaking Boundaries: The Universal Call of the Gospel Dear Friends and Beloved community, In the vast tapestry of ancient lands, where shadows once cast long and divisive lines, a new light began to shine. This light transcended the old tales of division, a beacon of hope and unity born from the heart of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is this light, breaking through the boundaries of ethnicity and status, that proclaims a message resonating through the ages: God's love and salvation are for all. Historically, a narrow perspective lingered that Gentiles were created to serve Jews, to work, plow, and reap. Yet, the Gospel redefined this limited understanding, revealing a deeper, universal truth. In Christ, there is no Jew or Gentile, no slave or free, no male or female, for all are one in Him. This radical inclusivity shatters the walls of prejudice and exclusivity, establishing a new covenant where every individual finds their place in God's grand design. The ancient divisions, rooted in fear and pride, begin to crumble as the Gospel's message takes root. It calls for unity that goes beyond mere tolerance, inviting all to a shared identity in the love and truth of Christ. The gift of salvation, freely given, is no longer reserved for a chosen few but extends to all humanity, a path to God and a glimpse of heaven. In the heart of this divine decree lies a call to love and to see each other through the eyes of grace. The kingdom of God welcomes all, creating a harmonious family united in one joyous song. The boundaries that once divided are broken, and hearts are healed in the embrace of this new covenant. Let us walk this path of grace with open hearts and a steady pace. In this Gospel, we are one—a family through God's own Son. With love and blessings, Pastor Steven G. Lee (June 21, 2024)
