The Path of True Transformation (06/19/'24) -Message

The Path of True Transformation Dear Friends, In the stillness of a seeking heart, where echoes of ancient truths resound, a call to repentance softly whispers: "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord." In the shadow of the cross, where the cost of grace was paid, we find a new beginning, proclaimed to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. Faith, not in our desires, but in the sovereign will of God, is a trust that transcends our fleeting wants. "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." In the quiet confidence that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us, our hearts align with the divine. With a conscience pure and motives true, "The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith." In the pursuit of integrity, "So I always take pains to have a clear conscience toward both God and man." Unashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, "For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." In this, we stand firm, knowing the strength of our foundation. "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh." In this divine transformation, we find our true selves, healed and restored, ready to walk in the light of His love. Motivational words may lift the spirit, but without the repentance of the cross, they are but a fleeting breeze. For true motivation is rooted in conscience, in the healing and restoration of a lost soul. Faith is not the belief that God will do what we want, but the belief that God will do what is right for the Kingdom of Heaven. And so, we embrace the core of the gospel, a journey of repentance, conscience, and faith, where the heart is renewed, and the spirit is restored, walking in the light of His eternal truth. In His Grace, Pastor Steven G. Lee (June 19, 2024)
